The DUSP9 dusp9 (Catalog #MBS616923) is an Antibody produced from Chicken and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DUSP9 (Dual Specificity Protein Phosphatase 9, Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Phosphatase 4, MAP Kinase Phosphatase 4, MKP4, MKP-4) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DUSP9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DUSP9 dusp9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The DUSP9 dusp9 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4503421) (NCBI Accession #NP_001386.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q6P9C2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the DUSP9 (Dual Specificity Protein Phosphatase 9, Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Phosphatase 4, MAP Kinase Phosphatase 4, MKP4, MKP-4) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot: E coli-derived fusion protein as test antigen. Affinity-purified IgY dilution: 1:2000, Goat anti-IgY-HRP dilution: 1:1000. Colorimetric method for signal development.)
DUSP9 is a member of the dual specificity protein phosphatase subfamily. These phosphatases inactivate their target kinases by dephosphorylating both the phosphoserine/threonine and phosphotyrosine residues. They negatively regulate members of the mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase superfamily (MAPK/ERK, SAPK/JNK, p38), which is associated with cellular proliferation and differentiation. Different members of the family of dual specificity phosphatases show distinct substrate specificities for various MAP kinases, different tissue distribution and subcellular localization, and different modes of inducibility of their expression by extracellular stimuli. DUSP9 shows selectivity for members of the ERK family of MAP kinases, is expressed only in placenta, kidney, and fetal liver, and is localized to the cytoplasm and nucleus.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa1-116. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DUSP9 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DUSP9 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
