The ECHS1 echs1 (Catalog #MBS9414605) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ECHS1 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ECHS1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Western blotting: 1:500-1:2000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ECHS1 echs1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ECHS1 echs1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #194097323) (NCBI Accession #NP_004083.3) (Uniprot Accession #P30084). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ECHS1 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Gel: 8%SDS-PAGE Lysates (from left to right): 293T, MCF-7 and PC3 cell, human fetal liver tissue and Hela cell Amount of lysate: 40ug per lane Primary antibody: 1/300 dilution Secondary antibody dilution: 1/8000 Exposure time: 20 seconds)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using at dilution 1/35.)
The protein encoded by this gene functions in the second step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. It catalyzes the hydration of 2-trans-enoyl-coenzyme A (CoA) intermediates to L-3-hydroxyacyl-CoAs. The gene product is a member of the hydratase/isomerase superfamily. It localizes to the mitochondrial matrix. Transcript variants utilizing alternative transcription initiation sites have been described in the literature.
Immunogen Type: Recombinant Protein
Immunogen Description: Full length fusion protein. Target Name: ECHS1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ECHS1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ECHS1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cardiovascular Diseases, Fatty Liver, Hyperplasia, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Mitochondrial Diseases, Nervous System Diseases, Obesity are some of the diseases may be linked to ECHS1 Antibody. Blood, Brain, Heart, Liver, Lymph, Lymph Node, Muscle, Nerve, Prostate, Thyroid tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. ECHS1 also interacts with the following gene(s): ACADM, ACADS, GCDH, HADH, HADHA.
