|The ECI1 eci1 (Catalog #MBS631153) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DCI, CT (Delta(3),Delta(2)-enoyl-CoA Isomerase, D3,D2-enoyl-CoA Isomerase, Dodecenoyl-CoA Isomerase, 3,2-trans-enoyl-CoA Isomerase, Mitochondrial) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DCI can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ECI1 eci1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ECI1 eci1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #18044954) (Uniprot Accession #P42126). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

DCI is a member of the hydratase/isomerase superfamily. The protein encoded is a key mitochondrial enzyme involved in beta-oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. It catalyzes the transformation of 3-cis and 3-trans-enoyl-CoA esters arising during the stepwise degradation of cis-, mono-, and polyunsaturated fatty acids to the 2-trans-enoyl-CoA intermediates.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide selected from the C-term region of human DCI (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ECI1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ECI1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Mitochondrial Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to DCI, CT (Delta(3),Delta(2)-enoyl-CoA Isomerase, D3,D2-enoyl-CoA Isomerase, Dodecenoyl-CoA Isomerase, 3,2-trans-enoyl-CoA Isomerase, Mitochondrial). The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood tissues are correlated with this protein.
