The EDAR edar (Catalog #MBS129455) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EDAR Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s EDAR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).WB: 1:500-1:2000
IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EDAR edar for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The EDAR edar product has the following accession number(s) (GI #21263572) (NCBI Accession #Q9UNE0.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9UNE0). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

This gene encodes a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. The encoded transmembrane protein is a receptor for the soluble ligand ectodysplasin A, and can activate the nuclear factor-kappaB, JNK, and caspase-independent cell death pathways. It is required for the development of hair, teeth, and other ectodermal derivatives. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal dominant and recessive forms of hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.
Species: Human
Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human EDAR
Calculated Molecular Weight: 49kDa. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EDAR are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EDAR may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Chromosome Aberrations, Ectodermal Dysplasia, Hypohidrotic, Autosomal Recessive, Eye Diseases, Fetal Death, Hyperplasia, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to EDAR Polyclonal Antibody. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Mouth, Prostate, Uncharacterized Tissue tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
