The EDN2 edn2 (Catalog #MBS2518418) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EDN2 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s EDN2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB: 1:500-1:2000
IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EDN2 edn2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The EDN2 edn2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #698980014) (NCBI Accession #NP_001289198.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the EDN2 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of Human normal right lung and normal left lung tissue using EDN2 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:600)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer using EDN2 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:30)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human colon cancer using EDN2 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:30)
This gene encodes a member of the endothelin protein family of secretory vasoconstrictive peptides. The preproprotein is processed to a short mature form which functions as a ligand for the endothelin receptors that initiate intracellular signaling events. This gene product is involved in a wide range of biological processes, such as hypertension and ovulation.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human EDN2. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EDN2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EDN2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. EDN2 also interacts with the following gene(s): EDN1, EDN3, EDNRA, EDNRB. Heart, Kidney, Lung, Mammary Gland tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiomyopathies, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Necrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to EDN2 Polyclonal Antibody.
