The EDN3 edn3 (Catalog #MBS9413681) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EDN3 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s EDN3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EDN3 edn3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The EDN3 edn3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #698848571) (NCBI Accession #NP_001289384.1) (Uniprot Accession #P14138). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the EDN3 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using at dilution 1/30.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using at dilution 1/30.)
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the endothelin family. Endothelins are endothelium-derived vasoactive peptides involved in a variety of biological functions. The active form of this protein is a 21 amino acid peptide processed from the precursor protein. The active peptide is a ligand for endothelin receptor type B (EDNRB). The interaction of this endothelin with EDNRB is essential for development of neural crest-derived cell lineages, such as melanocytes and enteric neurons. Mutations in this gene and EDNRB have been associated with Hirschsprung disease (HSCR) and Waardenburg syndrome (WS), which are congenital disorders involving neural crest-derived cells.
Immunogen Type: Recombinant Protein
Immunogen Description: Fusion protein corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human endothelin 3. Target Name: EDN3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EDN3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EDN3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain, Connective Tissue, Ear, Eye, Heart, Intestine, Muscle, Nerve, Ovary, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. EDN3 also interacts with the following gene(s): EDNRA, EDNRB. Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Chromosome Aberrations, Congenital Abnormalities, Disease Models, Animal, Hirschsprung Disease, Hypertension, Nervous System Diseases, WAARDENBURG SYNDROME, TYPE 4A, Waardenburg syndrome, type 4 are some of the diseases may be linked to EDN3 Antibody.
