|The ELAVL1 elavl1 (Catalog #MBS9213269) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HUR Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s HUR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).
WB~~ 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ELAVL1 elavl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ELAVL1 elavl1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #38201714) (NCBI Accession #NP_001410.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q15717). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the HUR Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Anti-HUR Antibody at 1:1000 dilution + Jurkat whole cell lysates
Lysates/proteins at 20 ug per lane.
Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L),Peroxidase conjugated at 1/10000 dilution
Predicted band size : 36 kDa
Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.)
Binds avidly to the AU-rich element in FOS and IL3/interleukin-3 mRNAs. In the case of the FOS AU-rich element, HUR binds to a core element of 27 nucleotides that contain AUUUA, AUUUUA, and AUUUUUA motifs. Binds preferentially to the 5\'- UUUU[AG]UUU-3\' motif in vitro. With ZNF385A, binds the 3\'-UTR of p53/TP53 mRNA to control their nuclear export induced by CDKN2A. Hence, may regulate p53/TP53 expression and mediate in part the CDKN2A anti-proliferative activity. May also bind with ZNF385A the CCNB1 mRNA.
Antigen Type: synthetic peptide. Antigen Source: KLH conjugated synthetic peptide derived from human HUR. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ELAVL1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ELAVL1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Muscle, Nerve tissues are correlated with this protein. ELAVL1 also interacts with the following gene(s): ANP32A, CHEK2, PTGS2, SET, TNF, TNPO2, VEGFA. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Death, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to HUR Antibody.
