The ENA-78 cxcl5 (Catalog #MBS695420) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-human ENA-78 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ENA-78 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Immunohistochemistery: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human colon/rectum adenocarcinoma. The recommended concentration is 1.0 mug/ml-2.0 mug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4 degree C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect hENA-78 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human ENA-78 as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hENA-78.
Western Blot: To detect hENA-78 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hENA-78 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ENA-78 cxcl5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ENA-78 cxcl5 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #1169525) (NCBI Accession #P42830.1) (Uniprot Accession #P42830). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hENA-78. Anti-Human ENA-78 specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hENA-78 matrix.
Immunogen: Recombinant Human ENA-78. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ENA-78 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ENA-78 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Carcinoma, Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Pneumonia, Respiratory Tract Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-human ENA-78. Blood, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Intestine, Kidney, Lung, Skin, Uterus, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
