The EPHB4 ephb4 (Catalog #MBS9401399) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EPHB4 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s EPHB4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Western blotting: 1:500~1:3000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EPHB4 ephb4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The EPHB4 ephb4 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #32528301) (NCBI Accession #NP_004435.3) (Uniprot Accession #P54760). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the EPHB4 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts from 293 cells and Jurkat cells, using EPHB4 antibody.)
Receptor tyrosine kinase which binds promiscuously transmembrane ephrin-B family ligands residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells. The signaling pathway downstream of the receptor is referred to as forward signaling while the signaling pathway downstream of the ephrin ligand is referred to as reverse signaling. Together with its cognate ligand/functional ligand EFNB2 plays a central role in heart morphogenesis and angiogenesis through regulation of cell adhesion and cell migration. EPHB4-mediated forward signaling controls cellular repulsion and segregation form EFNB2-expressing cells. Plays also a role in postnatal blood vessel remodeling, morphogenesis and permeability and is thus important in the context of tumor angiogenesis.Bennett B.D., J. Biol. Immunogen Type: Peptide
Immunogen Description: Synthesized peptide derived from internal of human EPHB4. Target Name: EPHB4. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing EPHB4 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as EPHB4 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Prostate, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. EPHB4 also interacts with the following gene(s): EFNA1, EFNA5, EFNB1, EFNB2, EFNB3, PIK3CA, PTEN, RAC1, VEGFA.
