The FAM59B gareml (Catalog #MBS151417) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FAM59B Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s FAM59B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).FAM59B antibody can be used for detection of FAM59B by Western blot at 1 mug/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 5 mug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 20 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FAM59B gareml for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The FAM59B gareml product has the following accession number(s) (GI #190359325) (NCBI Accession #Q75VX8.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q75VX8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the FAM59B Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of FAM59B in SK-N-SH cell lysate with FAM59B antibody at 1 μg/mL in (A) the absence and (B) the presence of blocking peptide.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of FAM59B in human brain tissue with FAM59B antibody at 5 μg/mL.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence of FAM59B in Human Brain cells with FAM59B antibody at 20 μg/mL.)
FAM59B Antibody: FAM59B is related to the FAM59A protein (also known as GAREM). While little is known of the role of the FAM59B protein, FAM59A is a downstream molecule in the EGF signaling pathway and binds Grb2, an adaptor protein crucial to the transduction of growth signals from the plasma membrane to the nucleus. Like FAM59A, FAM59B may play a role in ligand-mediated signaling pathway of the EGF receptor and the tumorigenesis of cells.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Immunogen: FAM59B antibody was raised against a 19 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the carboxy terminus of human FAM59B.
Buffer: FAM59B Antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FAM59B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FAM59B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
