Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the FCGR2B Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of Human placenta tissue using FCGR2B Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:850)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer using FCGR2B Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer using FCGR2B Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
The protein encoded by this gene is a low affinity receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin gamma complexes. The encoded protein is involved in the phagocytosis of immune complexes and in the regulation of antibody production by B-cells. Variations in this gene may increase susceptibilty to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human FCGR2B
Calculated Molecular Weight: 34kDa. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FCGR2B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FCGR2B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone Marrow, Brain, Connective Tissue, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Skin, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein. FCGR2B also interacts with the following gene(s): CRP, FCER1G, LYN, PTPN11, PTPN6. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
