The FST fst (Catalog #MBS695578) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-human Follistatin reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Follistatin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Neutralization, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human Follistatin (100.0 ng/ml), a concentration of 8.0 - 12.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human Follistatin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human Follistatin as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human Follistatin.
Western Blot: To detect Human Follistatin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 mug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant Human Follistatin is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FST fst for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The FST fst product has the following accession number(s) (GI #23831079) (NCBI Accession #P19883.2) (Uniprot Accession #P19883). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hFollistatin. Anti-Human Follistatin specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hFollistatin matrix.
Immunogen: Recombinant Human Follistatin. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FST are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FST may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Abnormalities, Drug-Induced, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cognition Disorders, Hypertension, Inflammation, Learning Disorders, Necrosis, Prenatal Exposure Delayed Effects, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-human Follistatin. FST also interacts with the following gene(s): BMP2, BMP4, BMP7, BMPR2, INHBA, MSTN. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adrenal Gland, Bone, Brain, Eye, Heart, Liver, Nerve, Ovary, Skin, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein.
