The FZD8 fzd8 (Catalog #MBS2526290) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FZD8 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s FZD8 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FZD8 fzd8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The FZD8 fzd8 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #17433053) (NCBI Accession #Q9H461.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue using FZD8 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:50)
This intronless gene is a member of the frizzled gene family. Members of this family encode seven-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for the Wingless type MMTV integration site family of signaling proteins. Most frizzled receptors are coupled to the beta-catenin canonical signaling pathway. This gene is highly expressed in two human cancer cell lines, indicating that it may play a role in several types of cancer. The crystal structure of the extracellular cysteine-rich domain of a similar mouse protein has been determined.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide of human FZD8. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing FZD8 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as FZD8 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Kidney, Lung, Pancreas, Testis, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. FZD8 also interacts with the following gene(s): DKK1, LRP5, LRP6, RYK, WNT1, WNT10A, WNT3A, WNT5A. Abnormalities, Drug-Induced, Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Prenatal Exposure Delayed Effects, Prenatal Injuries are some of the diseases may be linked to FZD8 Polyclonal Antibody.
