The GDI1 gdi1 (Catalog #MBS645579) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GDI1, CT (GDI1, GDIL, OPHN2, RABGDIA, XAP4, Rab GDP dissociation inhibitor alpha, Guanosine diphosphate dissociation inhibitor 1, Oligophrenin-2, Protein XAP-4) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s GDI1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GDI1 gdi1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The GDI1 gdi1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #49457546) (NCBI Accession #CAG47072.1) (Uniprot Accession #P31150). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the GDI1, CT (GDI1, GDIL, OPHN2, RABGDIA, XAP4, Rab GDP dissociation inhibitor alpha, Guanosine diphosphate dissociation inhibitor 1, Oligophrenin-2, Protein XAP-4) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (GDI1 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in MDA-MB453 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the GDI1 antibody detected the GDI1 protein (arrow).)
GDP dissociation inhibitors are proteins that regulate the GDP-GTP exchange reaction of members of the rab family, small GTP-binding proteins of the ras superfamily, that are involved in vesicular trafficking of molecules between cellular organelles. GDIs slow the rate of dissociation of GDP from rab proteins and release GDP from membrane-bound rabs. GDI1 is expressed primarily in neural and sensory tissues. Mutations in GDI1 have been linked to X-linked nonspecific mental retardation.
Immunogen: GDI1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 415-443 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human GDI1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing GDI1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as GDI1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. GDI1 also interacts with the following gene(s): ARHGDIB, ATP6AP1, GDI2, OPHN1.
