The GPR44 gpr44 (Catalog #MBS611496) is an Antibody produced from Chicken and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CRTH2, NT (Chemoattractant receptor-homologous Molecule expressed on Th2 cells, G Protein-coupled Receptor, GPR44) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CRTH2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
Dilution: Western Blot 1:500-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GPR44 gpr44 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The GPR44 gpr44 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4204216) (Uniprot Accession #Q9Y5Y4). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

CRTH2 (chemoattractant receptor-homologous molecule), which is also known as the putative G protein-coupled receptor (GPR44), is expressed on Th2 cells and is a novel member of the G protein-coupled leukocyte chemoattractant receptor family, which is selectively expressed in Th2 but not Th1 lineage cells. CRTH2 is selectively expressed in vivo in an activated state of Th2 cells including allergen-responsive Th2 cells, suggesting its pivotal roles in ongoing Th2-type immune reactions.

GPR44 gpr44

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to the aa15-33, EQMSRLQSHSNTSIRYIDH) on the N-terminal of the human CRTH2 (GPR44) protein. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing GPR44 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as GPR44 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain, Liver tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
