The GRO beta cxcl2 (Catalog #MBS535717) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GRO beta antibody reacts with Human GRO-beta and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s GRO beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Inhibition, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GRO beta cxcl2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The GRO beta cxcl2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #30023530) (NCBI Accession #AAP13104.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Affinity purified Rabbit polyclonal GRO beta antibody.
Biological Significance: Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 2 (CXCL2) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family that is also called macrophage inflammatory protein 2-alpha (MIP2-alpha), Growth-regulated protein beta (Gro-beta) and Gro oncogene-2 (Gro-2). CXCL2 is 90% identical in amino acid sequence as a related chemokine, CXCL1. This chemokine is secreted by monocytes and macrophages and is chemotactic for polymorphonuclear leukocytes and hematopoietic stem cells. Immunogen: GRO beta antibody was raised in rabbit using highly pure recombinant human GRO-beta as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing GRO beta are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as GRO beta may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Eye, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Pancreas tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Disease Models, Animal, Edema, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Injury, Necrosis, Pneumonia, Reperfusion Injury, Skin Diseases, Wounds and Injuries are some of the diseases may be linked to GRO beta antibody. GRO beta also interacts with the following gene(s): CCL19, CCL20, CCL5, CCR2, CXCL10, CXCL11, CXCL12, CXCL16, CXCR1, CXCR2.
