The HAND2 hand2 (Catalog #MBS9127801) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HAND2 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s HAND2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
IHC: 1:50 - 1:200
IF: 1:50 - 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HAND2 hand2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The HAND2 hand2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #47117699) (NCBI Accession #P61296.1) (Uniprot Accession #P61296). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the basic helix-loop-helix family of transcription factors. This gene product is one of two closely related family members, the HAND proteins, which are asymmetrically expressed in the developing ventricular chambers and play an essential role in cardiac morphogenesis. Working in a complementary fashion, they function in the formation of the right ventricle and aortic arch arteries, implicating them as mediators of congenital heart disease. In addition, this transcription factor plays an important role in limb and branchial arch development.
Species: Human
Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human HAND2
Calculated Molecular Weight: 23kDa. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing HAND2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as HAND2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adrenal Gland, Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Intestine, Mouth, Nerve, Placenta, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. HAND2 also interacts with the following gene(s): DLX6, EDN1, GATA4, GLI3, HOXD13, MEF2C, MSX1, RUNX2, SHH, TCF3.
