|The HAT1 hat1 (Catalog #MBS6010524) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HAT1, NT (HAT1, KAT1, Histone acetyltransferase type B catalytic subunit, Histone acetyltransferase 1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s HAT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HAT1 hat1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The HAT1 hat1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4504341) (NCBI Accession #NP_003633.1) (Uniprot Accession #O14929). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The protein encoded by this gene is a type B histone acetyltransferase (HAT) that is involved in the rapid acetylation of newly synthesized cytoplasmic histones, which are in turn imported into the nucleus for de novo deposition onto nascent DNA chains. Histone acetylation, particularly of histone H4, plays an important role in replication-dependent chromatin assembly. Specifically, this HAT can acetylate soluble but not nucleosomal histone H4 at lysines 5 and 12, and to a lesser degree, histone H2A at lysine 5. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene.
Immunogen: HAT1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 20-50 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human HAT1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing HAT1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as HAT1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Hypertrophy, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Prostatic Diseases, Proteinuria are some of the diseases may be linked to HAT1, NT (HAT1, KAT1, Histone acetyltransferase type B catalytic subunit, Histone acetyltransferase 1). Blood, Brain, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Testis, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
