The HAX1 hax1 (Catalog #MBS619237) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HCLS1 associated protein X-1 (HAX1, FLJ17042, FLJ18492, FLJ93803, HAX-1, HCLS1-associated Protein X-1, HCLSBP1, HS1-associating Protein X-1, HS1-binding Protein 1, HS1BP1, SCN3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s HCLS1 associated protein X-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:2000
Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HAX1 hax1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The HAX1 hax1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #66363694) (NCBI Accession #NP_001018238.1) (Uniprot Accession #O00165). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The protein encoded by this gene is known to associate with hematopoietic cell-specific Lyn substrate 1, a substrate of Src family tyrosine kinases. It also interacts with the product of the polycystic kidney disease 2 gene, mutations in which are associated with autosomal-dominant polycystic kidney disease, and with the F-actin-binding protein, cortactin. It was earlier thought that this gene product is mainly localized in the mitochondria, however, recent studies indicate it to be localized in the cell body. Mutations in this gene result in autosomal recessive severe congenital neutropenia, also known as Kostmann disease. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide C-TRHEADSSPRGDPES, from the internal region of human HAX1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing HAX1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as HAX1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Muscle, Pancreas, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Congenital Abnormalities, Hematologic Diseases, Hepatitis, NEUTROPENIA, SEVERE CONGENITAL, 3, AUTOSOMAL RECESSIVE, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Psoriasis are some of the diseases may be linked to HCLS1 associated protein X-1 (HAX1, FLJ17042, FLJ18492, FLJ93803, HAX-1, HCLS1-associated Protein X-1, HCLSBP1, HS1-associating Protein X-1, HS1-binding Protein 1, HS1BP1, SCN3).
