The HIST1H2BB hist1h2bb (Catalog #MBS9202124) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse, Monkey, Bovine, Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HIST1H2BB hist1h2bb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The HIST1H2BB hist1h2bb product has the following accession number(s) (GI #10800140) (NCBI Accession #NP_066406.1) (Uniprot Accession #P33778). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE Antibody (N-term) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE antibody detected the HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE protein (arrow).)
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE Antibody (N-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the HIST1H2BB/HIST1H2BE gene.)
Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible
for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in
eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA
wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the
four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is
further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1,
with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin
structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a member of the
histone H2B family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails;
instead, they contain a palindromic termination element. This gene
is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome
6p22-p21.3.
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing HIST1H2BB are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as HIST1H2BB may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
