The ifi-204 ifi204 (Catalog #MBS668061) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ifi-204 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ifi-204 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Western Blot: 3-5 g/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ifi-204 ifi204 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ifi-204 ifi204 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #118130979) (NCBI Accession #NP_032355.2) (Uniprot Accession #P0DOV2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ifi-204 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Expression analysis ofInterferon-activable protein 204. Anti-Interferon-activable protein 204antibody was used at 3 g/ml on(1) m kidney and (2) EL4 lysates.)
Interferon-activable protein 204 (Ifi-204) is a primarily nuclear phosphoprotein which inhibits cell growth, in part by modulating transcriptional activity of NFkB, E2F, AP-1, p53 and RB1-dependent and independent pathways. it also inhibits transcription of ribosomal RNA and DNA binding by UBTF. The disease related to IFI204 include skin, metaplasia and necrosis. It is present in osteoblasts (at protein level) and has two isoforms.
Immunogen: A partial recombinant ifi-204 protein (amino acids 1-250) was used as the immunogen for this antibody. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ifi-204 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ifi-204 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Bone Marrow, Muscle, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. ifi-204 also interacts with the following gene(s): Id2, Nkx2-5. Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Metaplasia, Necrosis, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to ifi-204 Polyclonal Antibody.
