The IFN-gamma ifng (Catalog #MBS695478) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-human IFN-gamma reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IFN-gamma can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, Neutralization, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Immunohistochemistery: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human cervical squamous cell carcinoma. The recommended concentration is 0.5 mug/ml-0.25 mug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4 degree C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended.
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human IFN-gamma (10 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.13-0.20 ug/ml of this antibody is required.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human IFN-gamma by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human IFN-gamma as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human IFN-gamma.
Western Blot: To detect Human IFN-gamma by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1- 0.2 ug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Human IFN-gamma is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IFN-gamma ifng for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IFN-gamma ifng product has the following accession number(s) (GI #124479) (NCBI Accession #P01579.1) (Uniprot Accession #P01579). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure recombinant Human IFN-gamma. Anti-Human IFN-gamma specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized Human IFN-gamma matrix.
Immunogen: Recombinant Human IFN-gamma. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IFN-gamma are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IFN-gamma may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Arthritis, Rheumatoid, Autoimmune Diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 1, HIV Infections, Hepatitis, Hepatitis C, Leishmaniasis, Lymphoproliferative Disorders, Necrosis, Respiratory Tract Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-human IFN-gamma.
