The IGFBP3 igfbp3 (Catalog #MBS2521889) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IGFBP3 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IGFBP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB: 1:200-1:1000
IHC: 1:20-1:200 . Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGFBP3 igfbp3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IGFBP3 igfbp3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #62243248) (NCBI Accession #NP_001013416.1) (Uniprot Accession #P17936). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Background:Insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) contains a 27 amino acid putative signal sequence followed by a mature protein of 264 amino acids with 18 cysteine residues clustered near the N- and C-terminus. Accordingly, expression of the cloned IGFBP-3 cDNA in mammalian tissue culture cells results in secretion of the protein into the culture medium. IGFBP-3 shares high homology (33% amino acid identity) including conservation of all 18 cysteine residues with a smaller human IGF-binding protein (BP-28) identified in amniotic fluid. IGFBP-3 has one or more glycosylation sites with a protein core of ~30 kDa. Western blots revealed that the 39-45 kDa IGFBP-3 fragment is a glycoprotein. Immunogen: IGFBP3 fusion protein Ag0242. Note: Centrifuge before opening to ensure complete recovery of vial contents. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IGFBP3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IGFBP3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Colorectal Neoplasms, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Lung Diseases, Prostatic Neoplasms, Weight Gain are some of the diseases may be linked to IGFBP3 Antibody.
