The IGFBPL1 igfbpl1 (Catalog #MBS616690) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Protein-Like 1 (IGFBP-L1, IGFBP-rP4) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Insulin-Like Growth Factor Binding Protein-Like 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in Western blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Direct ELISA.,, Recommended Dilutions:, Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit is ~2 ng/lane and 5 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions, respectively., Immunohistochemistry: 10ug/ml detects IGFBP-L1 in cryosections of E13.5 mouse brain. Tissue was fixed overnight in 4% PFA+14% picric acid in PBS at 4 degree C. Sections were blocked with 10% donkey serum and 0.1% Triton in 1% BSA in PBS for 45 minutes at RT. After, blocking, sections were incubated with primary antibody for 3 hours at RT followed by NorthernLightsTM 557 donkey anti-goat lgG at RT for 1 hour. Between each step, sections were, washed with 0.1% BSA in PBS., Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit is ~0.5 ng/well., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.,, Storage and Stability:, Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGFBPL1 igfbpl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IGFBPL1 igfbpl1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #56090548) (NCBI Accession #NP_001007564.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q8WX77). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein-Like 1 (also IGFBP-rP4) is a secreted member of the IGFBP family of proteins. Based on human, mature mouse IGFBP-L1 is a 251 amino acid (aa), 38kD glycoprotein. It contains an N-terminal IGFBP motif (aa 53-68), a kazal-type serine protease inhibitor region (aa 83-143) and a C-terminal Ig-like domain (aa 161-237). IGFBP-L1 is expressed in brain and testis and may be a tumor suppressor, possibly through the induction of apoptosis.
Immunogen: NS0-derived recombinant rat rmIGFBP-L1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IGFBPL1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IGFBPL1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
