The IgM ighm (Catalog #MBS220084) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s IgM can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoblotting (IB).Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul.
ELISA: Minimum Dilution: 1/5,000; Maximum Dilution: 1/20,000
Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/10. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgM ighm for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IgM ighm product has the following accession number(s) (GI #193806374) (NCBI Accession #P01871.3) (Uniprot Accession #P01871). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Goat anti human IgM polyclonal antibody reacts with the heavy chain of human IgM. This antibody has been cross-absorbed to reduce cross-reactivity with human IgG and IgA, but may react with IgM from other species.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.1% Sodium Azide (NaN3). Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antiserum to human IgM was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with human IgM paraproteins. The preparation was purified by affinity chromatography on human IgM covalently linked to Sepharose-4B.
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IgM are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IgM may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. IgM also interacts with the following gene(s): CD19, IGHG1, IGHG4, IGLL1, VPREB1. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Heart, Kidney, Ovary, Spleen, Testis, Thymus tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
