The IL-27 ALPHA il27ra (Catalog #MBS223376) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s IL-27 RECEPTOR ALPHA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistology Paraffin*, Western Blot (WB).Western Blot: Rabbit anti human IL-27Ralpha detects a band of approximately 70kDa in human spleen tissue lysates.
Immunofluorescence: Maximum Dilution: 20ug/ml
Immunohistology - Paraffin: Maximum Dilution: 5.0ug/ml; Application Note: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.5; Maximum Dilution: 1.0ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-27 ALPHA il27ra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IL-27 ALPHA il27ra product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4759328) (NCBI Accession #NP_004834.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q6UWB1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RABBIT ANTI HUMAN IL-27 RECEPTOR ALPHA (C-TERMINAL) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Western Blot analysis of human spleen lysate probed with Rabbit anti Human IL-27 receptor alpha (MBS223375))
Testing Data #2 (Immunohistochemical staining of human spleen with Rabbit anti Human IL-27 receptor alpha (MBS223375))
Rabbit anti human IL-27Ralpha antibody recognizes the carboxy terminal of the alpha subunit of the human IL-27 receptor, otherwise known as the T cell cytokine receptor (TCCR). It is a member of the type I cytokine receptor family with higher levels of expression in CD4+ T cells than in CD8+ T cells. It is a receptor for Interleukin-27 and is involved in the regulation of Th1-type T cells. It also appears to be involved in innate defense mechanisms. It is highly expressed in lymphoid tissue such as spleen, lymph nodes and peripheral blood leukocytes. It is also weakly expressed in tissues such as the heart, brain and lung.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.02% Sodium Azide (NaN3). Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antiserum to human Interleukin receptor alpha (C-Terminal) was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IL-27 ALPHA are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IL-27 ALPHA may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
