The IL-3 beta il1b (Catalog #MBS691289) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat Anti-Rat IL-3 beta reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s IL-3 beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Neutr.Western Blot: To detect rat IL-3 beta by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant rat IL-3 beta is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-3 beta il1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The IL-3 beta il1b product has the following accession number(s) (GI #2497335) (NCBI Accession #Q63264.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q63264). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

IL-3 is a hematopoietic growth factor that promotes the survival, differentiation and proliferation of committed progenitor cells of the megakaryocyte, granulocyte-macrophage, erythroid, eosinophil, basophil and mast cell lineages. Produced by T cells, mast cells and eosinophils, IL-3 enhances thrombopoieses, phagocytosis, and antibody-mediated cellular cytotoxicity. Its ability to activate monocytes suggests that IL-3 may have additional immunoregulatory roles. Many of the IL-3 activities depend upon co-stimulation with other cytokines. IL-3 is species-specific, variably glycosylated cytokine. Recombinant rat IL-3beta is a 16.3 kDa globular protein containing 144 amino acid residues.
Buffer: PBS; pH 7.2
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Rat IL-3beta (100 ng/ml), a concentration of 2.7 - 4.0 ug/ml of this antibody is required. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing IL-3 beta are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as IL-3 beta may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Connective Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Ovary, Spleen tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
