The ITGB2 itgb2 (Catalog #MBS9204041) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ITGB2 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ITGB2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ITGB2 itgb2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ITGB2 itgb2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #89191865) (NCBI Accession #NP_000202.2) (Uniprot Accession #P05107). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ITGB2 Antibody (N-term) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (ITGB2 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in CEM cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the ITGB2 antibody detected the ITGB2 protein (arrow).)
The product of this gene belongs to the integrin beta
chain family of proteins. Integrins are integral cell-surface
proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This gene
encodes the integrin beta chain beta 2. A given chain may combine
with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. For
example, beta 2 combines with the alpha L chain to form the
integrin LFA-1, and combines with the alpha M chain to form the
integrin Mac-1. Integrins are known to participate in cell adhesion
as well as cell-surface mediated signalling. Defects in this gene
are the cause of leukocyte adhesion deficiency type I (LAD1). Two
transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified
for this gene.
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ITGB2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ITGB2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. ITGB2 also interacts with the following gene(s): ICAM1, ICAM2, ICAM3, ITGA5, ITGAD, ITGAL, ITGAM, ITGAX. Atherosclerosis, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Diseases, Hypersensitivity, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Leukocyte Disorders, Leukocyte-Adhesion Deficiency Syndrome, Lung Diseases, Necrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to ITGB2 Antibody (N-term).
