The JIK n/a (Catalog #MBS630989) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The JIK, CT (JNK/SAPK-inhibitory Kinase, Jun Kinase Inhibitory Kinase, Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma-associated Antigen HD-CL-09, CTCL-associated Antigen HD-CL-09, Dendritic Cell-derived Protein Kinase, DPK, KDS, Kinase from Chicken Homolog A, hKFC-A, MAP3K18, Se reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s JIK can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:50-1:100
Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the JIK n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The JIK n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #117616146). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the JIK, CT (JNK/SAPK-inhibitory Kinase, Jun Kinase Inhibitory Kinase, Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma-associated Antigen HD-CL-09, CTCL-associated Antigen HD-CL-09, Dendritic Cell-derived Protein Kinase, DPK, KDS, Kinase from Chicken Homolog A, hKFC-A, MAP3K18, Se with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of TAOK3 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal TAOK3 Antibody (C-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the TAOK3 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue reacted with TAOK3 antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
TAOK3 is negatively regulated by epidermal growth factor (EGF) and Inhibits the basal activity of Jun kinase. When TAOK3 is overexpressed, it may activate ERK1/ERK2 and JNK/SAPK.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide selected from the C-terminal region of human TAOK3 (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing JIK are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as JIK may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
