The KC cxcl1 (Catalog #MBS840366) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The KC Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s KC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Western blotting (0.5-4 ug/ml) and Immunohistochemistry (5 ug/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. Blocking peptide is available separately. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KC cxcl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The KC cxcl1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #54887349) (NCBI Accession #AAH37997). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Background: KC, a homolog of human and hamster gro/MGSA, is a 72-amino acid CXC chemokine originally cloned from rat macrophages and lung tissue. It is the mediator for recruitment and activation of neutrophils in rat lung inflammation models. Expression of KC can be upregulated by LPS and IL-1-gamma stimulation. IFN-g blocks LPS-induced expression of KC.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 78 of mouse KC
Positive Control: Western Blot: Jurkat cell lysate and 3T3 cell lysate. IHC: Kidney tissue. Handling: The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing KC are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as KC may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Adipose Tissue, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Extraembryonic Tissue, Mammary Gland, Ovary, Spinal Cord, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. Cardiovascular Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Injury, Necrosis, Pneumonia, Reperfusion Injury, Wounds and Injuries are some of the diseases may be linked to KC Antibody.
