The KIF2C kif2c (Catalog #MBS2525925) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The KIF2C Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s KIF2C can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KIF2C kif2c for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The KIF2C kif2c product has the following accession number(s) (GI #663071035) (NCBI Accession #NP_001284586.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the KIF2C Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using KIF2C antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human breast cancer using KIF2C antibody at dilution of 1:200 (200x lens).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human esophageal cancer using KIF2C antibody at dilution of 1:200 (200x lens).)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence analysis of U20S cell using KIF2C antibody. Blue: DAPI for nuclear staining.)
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of kinesin-like protein family. Proteins of this family are microtubule-dependent molecular motors that transport organelles within cells and move chromosomes during cell division. This protein is important for anaphase chromosome segregation and may be required to coordinate the onset of sister centromere separation.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human KIF2C
Observed Molecular Weight: 81kDa. Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing KIF2C are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as KIF2C may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Brain, Intestine, Liver, Lung, Lymph, Lymph Node, Muscle, Stomach, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adenocarcinoma, Atherosclerosis, Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases, Prostatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to KIF2C Antibody.
