|The LCN9 n/a (Catalog #MBS649403) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LCN9, NT (LCN9, Epididymal-specific lipocalin-9, MUP-like lipocalin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s LCN9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LCN9 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Members of the lipocalin family, such as LCN9, have a common structure consisting of an 8-stranded antiparallel beta-barrel that forms a cup-shaped ligand-binding pocket or calyx. Lipocalins generally bind small hydrophobic ligands and transport them to specific cells (Suzuki et al., 2004 [PubMed 15363845]).
Immunogen: LCN9 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 43-72 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human LCN9. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing LCN9 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LCN9 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
