The LEPREL2 leprel2 (Catalog #MBS415603) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-LEPREL2 Antibody reacts with Human. Predicted: Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s LEPREL2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).ELISA titer: 1:20,000-1:80,000
Western blot analysis: 1:1,000-1:2,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:500
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LEPREL2 leprel2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The LEPREL2 leprel2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #39645208) (NCBI Accession #BC017217). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data
This gene belongs to the leprecan family of proteoglycans, which function as collagen prolyl hydroxylases that are required for proper collagen biosynthesis, folding and assembly. This protein, like other family members, is thought to reside in the endoplasmic reticulum. Epigenetic inactivation of this gene is associated with breast and other cancers, suggesting that it may function as a tumor suppressor. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2013].
Storage Buffer: PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. Immunogen: Rabbit polyclonal LEPREL2 (1) antibody was raised against a recombinated human LEPREL2 protein 400-579aa (BC017217). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing LEPREL2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LEPREL2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. LEPREL2 also interacts with the following gene(s): LEPRE1, LEPREL1. Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Eye tissues are correlated with this protein. Cardiovascular Diseases, Fetal Death are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-LEPREL2 Antibody.
