The LHB lhb (Catalog #MBS624721) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Luteinizing Hormone, beta, CT (Luteinizing Hormone Subunit beta, LHB, LH-B, hLHB, LSH-beta, LSH-B, CGB4, Lutropin beta Chain, Lutropin Subunit beta) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Luteinizing Hormone, beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LHB lhb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The LHB lhb product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4262812) (Uniprot Accession #P01229). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Luteinizing Hormone, beta, CT (Luteinizing Hormone Subunit beta, LHB, LH-B, hLHB, LSH-beta, LSH-B, CGB4, Lutropin beta Chain, Lutropin Subunit beta) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis in mouse heart tissue lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS624721. This demonstrates that MBS624721 detected the LHB protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human testis tissue using MBS624721, followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of MBS624721 for immunohistochemistry.)
LHB is a member of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family and is the beta subunit of luteinizing hormone (LH). Glycoprotein hormones are heterodimers consisting of a common alpha subunit and an unique beta subunit which confers biological specificity. LH is expressed in the pituitary gland and promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide selected from the C-terminal region of human LHB (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing LHB are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LHB may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
