The LOXL3 loxl3 (Catalog #MBS641603) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LOXL3, CT (LOXL3, LOXL, Lysyl oxidase homolog 3, Lysyl oxidase-like protein 3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s LOXL3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LOXL3 loxl3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The LOXL3 loxl3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #14211943) (NCBI Accession #NP_115992.1) (Uniprot Accession #P58215). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the LOXL3, CT (LOXL3, LOXL, Lysyl oxidase homolog 3, Lysyl oxidase-like protein 3) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis in NCI-H292 cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS641603. This demonstrates the MBS641603 detected the LOXL3 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human placenta tissue using MBS641603 followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of MBS641603 for immunohistochemistry.)
This gene encodes a member of the lysyl oxidase gene family. The prototypic member of the family is essential to the biogenesis of connective tissue, encoding an extracellular copper-dependent amine oxidase that catalyses the first step in the formation of crosslinks in collagens and elastin. A highly conserved amino acid sequence at the C-terminus end appears to be sufficient for amine oxidase activity, suggesting that each family member may retain this function. The N-terminus is poorly conserved and may impart additional roles in developmental regulation, senescence, tumor suppression, cell growth control, and chemotaxis to each member of the family. Alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been reported but their full-length nature has not been determined.
Immunogen: LOXL3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 722-752 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human LOXL3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing LOXL3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as LOXL3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
