|The MAGED1 maged1 (Catalog #MBS2524792) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAGED1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MAGED1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAGED1 maged1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MAGED1 maged1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #52632379) (NCBI Accession #NP_001005332.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

MAGE-D1, also known as NRAGE or Dlxin-1, is a member of the MAGE family of proteins. Identified as a p75 neurotrophin receptor intracellular binding protein, MAGE-D1 induces developmental apoptosis of motoneurons, and is required for p75NTR-dependent apoptosis in sympathetic neurons. It is suggested that MAGE-D1 can suppress the motility and adhesion response of tumor cells. By forming a hetercomplex with Dlx/Msx family homeodomain proteins and Necdin, MAGE-D1 modulates the function of Dlx/Msx homeodomain during terminal differentiation and maturation of neurons. MAGE-D1 is also involved in the phosphorylation of IKK-alpha/beta, and subsequent transcriptional activation of the p65 subunit of NF-kappaB, via the XIAP-Tak1-Tab1 complex. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MAGED1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MAGED1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. MAGED1 also interacts with the following gene(s): AATF, DLX5, NGFR, NTRK1, PJA1. Blood, Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Liver, Muscle, Nerve, Skin, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. Carcinoma, Depressive Disorder, Disease Models, Animal, Fever, Hypertension, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Muscular Diseases, Necrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to MAGED1 Antibody.
