Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MCM5 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of HepG2, K562, Jurkat, 231 and hela cell using MCM5 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:475)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human gastic cancer using MCM5 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer using MCM5 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
The protein encoded by this gene is structurally very similar to the CDC46 protein from S. cerevisiae, a protein involved in the initiation of DNA replication. The encoded protein is a member of the MCM family of chromatin-binding proteins and can interact with at least two other members of this family. The encoded protein is upregulated in the transition from the G0 to G1/S phase of the cell cycle and may actively participate in cell cycle regulation.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human MCM5
Calculated Molecular Weight: 82kDa. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MCM5 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MCM5 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Heart Diseases, Hypertrophy, Learning Disorders, Ovarian Diseases, Ovarian Neoplasms, Precancerous Conditions are some of the diseases may be linked to MCM5 Polyclonal Antibody. Bladder, Blood, Brain, Cervix, Embryonic Tissue, Intestine, Liver, Lymph, Muscle, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein.
