The MCM7 mcm7 (Catalog #MBS9411710) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MCM7 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MCM7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).Western blotting: 1:500-1:3000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:250
Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MCM7 mcm7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MCM7 mcm7 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #33469922) (NCBI Accession #NP_877577). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MCM7 antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Sample (30 ug of whole cell lysate) A: H1299 7.5% SDS PAGE Primary antibody diluted at 1: 1000)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Cal27 Xenograft, using MCM7 antibody at 1: 100 dilution.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde-fixed HeLa, using MCM7 antibody at 1: 200 dilution.)
The protein encoded by this gene is one of the highly conserved mini-chromosome maintenance proteins (MCM) that are essential for the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. The hexameric protein complex formed by the MCM proteins is a key component of the pre-replication complex (pre_RC) and may be involved in the formation of replication forks and in the recruitment of other DNA replication related proteins. The MCM complex consisting of this protein and MCM2, 4 and 6 proteins possesses DNA helicase activity, and may act as a DNA unwinding enzyme. Cyclin D1-dependent kinase, CDK4, is found to associate with this protein, and may regulate the binding of this protein with the tumorsuppressor protein RB1/RB. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. [provided by RefSeq].
Immunogen Type: Recombinant protein
Immunogen Description: Recombinant protein fragment contain a sequence corresponding to a region within amino acids 14 and 275 of MCM7. Target Name: MCM7. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MCM7 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MCM7 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
