The MVP mvp (Catalog #MBS2519603) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MVP Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s MVP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB: 1:500-1:2000
IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MVP mvp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The MVP mvp product has the following accession number(s) (GI #19913412) (NCBI Accession #NP_005106.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the MVP Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of 823 cell using MVP Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:350)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer using MVP Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:30)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer using MVP Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:30)
This gene encodes the major component of the vault complex. Vaults are multi-subunit ribonucleoprotein structures that may be involved in nucleo-cytoplasmic transport. The encoded protein may play a role in multiple cellular processes by regulating the MAP kinase, JAK/STAT and phosphoinositide 3-kinase/Akt signaling pathways. The encoded protein also plays a role in multidrug resistance, and expression of this gene may be a prognostic marker for several types of cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human MVP
Calculated Molecular Weight: 99kDa. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing MVP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as MVP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. MVP also interacts with the following gene(s): ABCB1, ABCC1, ABCC3, PTEN, PTPN11, STAT1, YPEL4. Bladder, Blood, Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Heart, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Brain Diseases, Breast Neoplasms, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Hypertrophy, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neurobehavioral Manifestations are some of the diseases may be linked to MVP Polyclonal Antibody.
