|The NCOA3 ncoa3 (Catalog #MBS176920) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-SRC3 antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s SRC3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NCOA3 ncoa3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NCOA3 ncoa3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #23396777) (NCBI Accession #Q9Y6Q9.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9Y6Q9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Nuclear receptor coactivator 3(NCOA3) detection. Tested with WB in Human, Mouse, Rat.
Background: The nuclear receptor coactivator 3 also known as NCOA3 is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the NCOA3 gene. It is mapped to 20q13.12. This gene was amplified and overexpressed in breast and ovarian cancer cell lines, as well as in breast cancer biopsies, and altered NCOA3 expression may contribute to development of steroid-dependent cancers. NCOA3 is a transcriptional coactivator protein that contains several nuclear receptor interacting domains and an intrinsic histone acetyltransferase activity. In addition to those, this gene is recruited to DNA promotion sites by ligand-activated nuclear receptors. NCOA3, in turn, acylates histones, which makes downsteam DNA more accessible to transcription. Hence, NCOA3 assists nuclear receptors in the upregulation of gene expression.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human SRC3 (1043-1061aa NLEGQSDERALLDQLHTLL), different from the related mouse sequence by two amino acids, and from the related rat sequence by one amino acid.. Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg NaN3.
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NCOA3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NCOA3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
