The NEUROD1 neurod1 (Catalog #MBS643014) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NeuroD1, CT (NEUROD1, BHLHA3, NEUROD, Neurogenic differentiation factor 1, Class A basic helix-loop-helix protein 3) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NeuroD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:1,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NEUROD1 neurod1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NEUROD1 neurod1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #121114306) (NCBI Accession #NP_002491.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q13562). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the NeuroD1, CT (NEUROD1, BHLHA3, NEUROD, Neurogenic differentiation factor 1, Class A basic helix-loop-helix protein 3) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (NeuroD1 Antibody (I333) western blot analysis in Y79 cell line, mouse cerebellum and rat brain tissue lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the NeuroD1 antibody detected the NeuroD1 protein (arrow).)
NeuroD1 is a transcriptional activator that acts as a differentiation factor during neurogenesis. It has been demonstrated to bind to the insulin gene E-box. Efficient DNA binding requires dimerization with another basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) protein. Defects in NEUROD1 are a cause of maturity onset diabetes of the young type VI (MODY6). MODY6 is a form of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus characterized by an autosomal dominant mode of inheritance, onset during young adulthood and a primary defect in insulin secretion.
Immunogen: NeuroD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 326~355 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human NeuroD1 protein. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NEUROD1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NEUROD1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Lung, Muscle, Pancreas, Pineal Gland, Testis, Uncharacterized Tissue tissues are correlated with this protein.
