The Neurotrophin Receptor, p75 n/a (Catalog #MBS613252) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Neurotrophin Receptor, p75 reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Neurotrophin Receptor, p75 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1-05ug/ml detects p75 neurotrphin receptor in RIPA lysates from PC-12 cells. PC-12 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with N2017-42 (0.1ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunoprecipitation: Reported to immunoprecipitate p75 neurotrophin receptor.
Immunohistochemistry: Reported to detect p75 neurotrophin receptor in rat brain sections (3). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Neurotrophin Receptor, p75 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Neurotrophin Receptor, p75 with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of PC-12 cell lysate using MBS613252 0.1ug/ml.)
The Low Affinity Nerve Growth Factor Receptor (also called the LNGFR or p75 neurotrophin receptor) is one of the two receptor types for the neurotrophins, a family of protein growth factors which stimulate neuronal cells to survive and differentiate. The neurotrophins are comprised of four proteins, all of which bind to the LNGFR: Nerve Growth Factor (NGF), Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), Neurotrophin-3 (NT-3), and Neurotrophin-4 (NT-4).
Immunogen: GST fusion protein corresponding to the intracellular domain (residues 274-425) of rat p75 neurotrophin receptor. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Neurotrophin Receptor, p75 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Neurotrophin Receptor, p75 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
