The NIP1, BH3 Domain n/a (Catalog #MBS629264) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NIP1, BH3 Domain (Vesicle Transport Protein SEC20, BCL2/Adenovirus E1B 19kD Protein-interacting Protein 1, Transformation-related Gene 8 Protein, TRG-8, BNIP1, NIP1, SEC20L, TRG8) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NIP1, BH3 Domain can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-1:500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NIP1, BH3 Domain n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the NIP1, BH3 Domain (Vesicle Transport Protein SEC20, BCL2/Adenovirus E1B 19kD Protein-interacting Protein 1, Transformation-related Gene 8 Protein, TRG-8, BNIP1, NIP1, SEC20L, TRG8) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of anti-NIP1 BH3 Domain Pab in HL60 cell lysates (35ug/lane). NIP1 BH3 Domain (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
NIP1 (BNIP1) is a member of the BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19kd-interacting protein (BNIP) family. It interacts with the E1B 19kD protein which is responsible for the protection of virally-induced cell death, as well as E1B 19kD-like sequences of BCL2, also an apoptotic protector. Alternative splicing of this gene results in four products of unknown function. Transcript variant BNIP1 contains the entire coding region of the gene. This variant contains a fully conserved BH3 domain, which has been associated with pro-apoptotic function.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide selected from the central region (BH3 domain) of human NIP1 (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NIP1, BH3 Domain are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NIP1, BH3 Domain may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
