The NKX2-1 nkx2-1 (Catalog #MBS9404532) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NKX2-1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NKX2-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Western blotting: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NKX2-1 nkx2-1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NKX2-1 nkx2-1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #118766339) (NCBI Accession #NP_001073136.1) (Uniprot Accession #P43699). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

This gene encodes a protein initially identified as a thyroid-specific transcription factor. The encoded protein binds to the thyroglobulin promoter and regulates the expression of thyroid-specific genes but has also been shown to regulate the expression of genes involved in morphogenesis. Mutations and deletions in this gene are associated with benign hereditary chorea, choreoathetosis, congenital hypothyroidism, and neonatal respiratory distress, and may be associated with thyroid cancer. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. This gene shares the symbol/alias \'TFF1\' with another gene, transcription termination factor 1, which plays a role in ribosomal gene transcription.
Immunogen Type: Peptide
Immunogen Description: Synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the N terminal of human NK2 homeobox 1. Target Name: NKX2-1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NKX2-1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NKX2-1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain Diseases, Chorea, Choreoathetosis, Hypothyroidism, And Neonatal Respiratory Distress, Craniofacial Abnormalities, Disease Models, Animal, Hyperplasia, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Neoplasms, Experimental, Pregnancy Complications are some of the diseases may be linked to NKX2-1 Antibody.
