|The NVL nvl (Catalog #MBS1495598) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NVL Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NVL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Recommended dilution: WB:1:200-1000
IHC:1:20-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NVL nvl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NVL nvl product has the following accession number(s) (GI #341865579) (NCBI Accession #NP_001230075.1) (Uniprot Accession #O15381). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

This gene encodes a member of the AAA (ATPases associated with diverse cellular activities) superfamily. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Two encoded proteins, described as major and minor isoforms, have been localized to distinct regions of the nucleus. The largest encoded protein (major isoform) has been localized to the nucleolus and shown to participate in ribosome biosynthesis (PMID: 15469983, 16782053), while the minor isoform has been localized to the nucleoplasmin.
Storage Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
Conjugate: Non-conjugated. Immunogen: Recombinant human Nuclear valosin-containing protein-like protein (340-520aa)
Santa Cruz Alternative: Potential replacement for Santa Cruz Biotechnology antibody catalog# sc-104490. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NVL are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NVL may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Fibrosis, Immune System Diseases, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Diseases, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to NVL Antibody. Blood, Brain, Eye, Kidney, Lung, Lymph, Lymph Node, Mouth, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
