|The NXT1 nxt1 (Catalog #MBS647960) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NXT1, CT (NXT1, NTF2-related export protein 1, Protein p15) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s NXT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NXT1 nxt1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The NXT1 nxt1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #7019471) (NCBI Accession #NP_037380.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9UKK6). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The protein encoded by this gene is located in the nuclear envelope. It has protein similarity to nuclear transport factor 2. This protein functions as a nuclear export factor in both RAN (Ras-related nuclear protein)- and CRM1 (required for chromosome region maintenance)-dependent pathways. It is found to stimulate the export of U1 snRNA in RAN- and CRM1-dependent pathways and the export of tRNA and mRNA in a CRM1-independent pathway. The encoded protein heterodimerizes with Tap protein and may regulate the ability of Tap protein to mediate nuclear mRNA export. The use of alternate polyadenylation sites has been found for this gene.
Immunogen: NXT1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 85-111 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human NXT1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing NXT1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as NXT1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Brain, Spleen, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. Inflammation, Necrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to NXT1, CT (NXT1, NTF2-related export protein 1, Protein p15). NXT1 also interacts with the following gene(s): NUP62, NUP98, NXF1, NXF2, NXF3. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
