The PCBD1 pcbd1 (Catalog #MBS645348) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PCBD1, ID (PCBD1, DCOH, PCBD, Pterin-4-alpha-carbinolamine dehydratase, 4-alpha-hydroxy-tetrahydropterin dehydratase, Dimerization cofactor of hepatocyte nuclear factor 1-alpha, Phenylalanine hydroxylase-stimulating protein, Pterin carbinolamine dehydrata reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PCBD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PCBD1 pcbd1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The PCBD1 pcbd1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #330417897) (NCBI Accession #NP_001193403.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q3ZBD3). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the PCBD1, ID (PCBD1, DCOH, PCBD, Pterin-4-alpha-carbinolamine dehydratase, 4-alpha-hydroxy-tetrahydropterin dehydratase, Dimerization cofactor of hepatocyte nuclear factor 1-alpha, Phenylalanine hydroxylase-stimulating protein, Pterin carbinolamine dehydrata with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of PCBD1 Antibody (Center) in mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). PCBD1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma reacted with PCBD1 Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (PCBD1 Antibody (Center) flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
PCBD1 encodes pterin-4 alpha-carbinolamine dehydratase, an enzyme involved in phenylalanine hydroxylation. A deficiency of this enzyme leads to hyperphenylalaninemia. The enzyme regulates the homodimerization of the transcription factor hepatocyte nuclear factor 1 (HNF1).
Immunogen: PCBD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 27~56 amino acids from the Center region of human PCBD1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PCBD1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PCBD1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
