The PDIA3 pdia3 (Catalog #MBS9215010) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PDIA3 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s PDIA3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDIA3 pdia3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The PDIA3 pdia3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #21361657) (NCBI Accession #NP_005304.3) (Uniprot Accession #P30101). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the PDIA3 Antibody (C-term) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of PDIA3 Antibody (C-term) in A2058 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). PDIA3 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of PDIA3 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal PDIA3 Antibody (C-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the PDIA3 gene (Lane 2).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma reacted with PDIA3 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (PDIA3 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of NCI-H292 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
PDIA3 is the endoplasmic reticulum that interacts with lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin to modulate folding of newly synthesized glycoproteins. The protein was once thought to be a phospholipase; however, it has been demonstrated that the protein actually has protein disulfide isomerase activity. It is thought that complexes of lectins and this protein mediate protein folding by promoting formation of disulfide bonds in their glycoprotein substrates.
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PDIA3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PDIA3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
