The PRKD2 prkd2 (Catalog #MBS626404) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Protein Kinase D2, phosphorylated (Ser876) (PKD2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Protein Kinase D2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Dilution: Immunoblot Analysis: 0.5-2ug/ml of this lot detected phospho-PKD2 (Ser876) in RIPA lysates from PDBu (Phorbol 12,13-dibutyrate) stimulated HEK293 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PRKD2 prkd2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The PRKD2 prkd2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #12659007) (Uniprot Accession #Q9BZL6). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Protein Kinase D2, phosphorylated (Ser876) (PKD2) with the following immunoassay(s):
Chemiluminescence (Unstimlated (lane 1) and PDBu stimulated (lane 2) HEK293 cell lysates were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with antiphospho-PKD2 (Ser876) (2ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates phospho-PKD2 (Ser876) (105kD).)
Protein kinase D2 (PKD2) is a novel human serine threonine protein kinase gene. It exhibits the strongest homology to the serine threonine protein kinases PKD/PKC; and PKCnu, particularly in the duplex zinc nger-like cysteine-rich motif, in the pleckstrin homology domain and in the protein kinase domain. In contrast, it shows only a low degree of sequence similarity to other members of the PKC family.
Immunogen: KLH-conjugated, synthetic peptide corresponding to aa surrounding phosphorylated Ser876 of human PKD2. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing PRKD2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as PRKD2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Leukemia, Lymphocytic, Chronic, B-Cell are some of the diseases may be linked to Protein Kinase D2, phosphorylated (Ser876) (PKD2). The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood tissues are correlated with this protein.
