The RAIDD n/a (Catalog #MBS616774) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RAIDD, CT (RIP-associated ICH-1/CED-3-homologous protein with DD, CRADD, Caspase and RIP adapter with DD) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s RAIDD can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RAIDD n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. To buy or view more detailed product information and pricing, please click on the technical datasheet page below:
Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RAIDD, CT (RIP-associated ICH-1/CED-3-homologous protein with DD, CRADD, Caspase and RIP adapter with DD) with the following immunoassay(s):

Apoptosis, or programmed cell death, occurs during normal cellular differentiation and development of multicellular organisms. Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand of the TNF family through their death domain (DD)-containing receptors, TNFR1 and Fas. The death signals are transduced by a group of DD-containing adapter molecules. A novel cell death adapter was recently identified by two independent groups and designated RAIDD (RIP-associated ICH-1/CED-3-homologous protein with DD) and CRADD (caspase and RIP adapter with DD)1,2. RAIDD contains a DD and a CARD (for caspase recruitment domain) which interact with RIP and caspase, respectively, to transduce death signals1,3. RAIDD is constitutively expressed in many tissues and mediates apoptosis caused by Fas and TNFR-1.
Immunogen: Peptide corresponding to amino acids 181 to 199 of human RAIDD1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing RAIDD are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as RAIDD may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
